Arlington To Host Warrant Article Workshop For Town Meeting 2023

The meeting is hosted by Envision Arlington's Civic Engagement Group and will be led by Deputy Town Counsel Michael Cunningham.

ARLINGTON, MA — The Town of Arlington will host a virtual warrant article workshop for Town Meeting 2023 on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The meeting is hosted by Envision Arlington’s Civic Engagement Group and will be led by Deputy Town Counsel Michael Cunningham.

Participants will learn about the ins and outs of creating good articles for the warrant.

"Of course, crafting a good article doesn't mean that the Finance Committee or the Redevelopment Board or the Select Board or, ultimately, Town Meeting will vote "favorable action" on the article, but it will likely stand a better chance than it would otherwise,” the town said in a statement. "At a minimum, you may get some insights from just bouncing around your idea(s) with Mr. Cunningham and others who join this virtual workshop." Hosted by Envision Arlington's Civic Engagement Group.
