Arlington Reservoir Grand Opening To Be Held June 18
The community supported the Arlington Reservoir project through both capital and CPA funding over a multi-year period.

ARLINGTON, MA — The Arlington Park and Recreation Commission will cut the ribbon on the fully renovated Arlington Reservoir at a grand opening event on Saturday, June 18.
The event will be held at Arlington Reservoir, located at 210 Lowell Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the ribbon cutting set to take place at 10:30. There will be a DJ, food, and games.

The nearly $5 million in renovations include improvements to the entire mechanical system, filtration system, pump house, beach house and concession stand, beach area, playground, picnic pavilion, sports court, parking lot, perimeter path, ADA access, fencing, invasive species removal, boat ramp, fishing piers, and bank stabilization.
"Every passive and active recreational element at the reservoir received some form of improvement,” said the town in an announcement.
