ARLINGTON, MA — It was a year unlike any other, and many people will be glad it's over.

While the coronavirus pandemic undoubtedly dominated the headlines this year, other stories caught our readers' attention, including a hotly contested Town Election and numerous restaurant happenings.

Arlington Ice Cream Shop Permanently Closes

Abilyn's Frozen Bakery, previously the Chilly Cow, shut down in April. The shop focused on "bakery-style" ice cream, including ice cream cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
