Crime Log: Car Keyed, Home Ransacked In Arlington
The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department.

Police Log, Tuesday, May 12
- Car Keyed Down Driver’s Side, 9 a.m., Tufts Street
A reporting party said someone keyed the entire driver’s side of his black Volkswagen Jetta while it was parked on Tufts Street. Evidently, the same thing happened in August.
- Home Ransacked, Items Stolen, 9:53 a.m., Bow Street
A woman left her residence, and returned to find the front door open. She declined to enter, and instead called police.

Upon police’s arrival, it was discovered that her purse had been emptied and thrown on the kitchen floor, various drawers had been rifled through, and a laptop, iPod, and jewelry box containing a pair of wedding rings, a necklace, and a bracelet were all missing.
A contractor working next door said he saw a pair of teenage males enter and leave the premises around the same time.
