Obituary: Gregory F. Mellor, 40, Passed Away Peacefully Surrounded by His Family

Gregory Frances Mellor, age 40, of Arlington MA, formerly of Winchendon MA, passed away peacefully on September 10th surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his mother, Susan Sirois and her partner Bruce Davidson of Arlington, father Robert and wife Linda Mellor of Barre MA, step-father, Ben Dekant, of Nuremburg, Germany, brother, Peter Dekant and nephew Aidan Dekant of Kingston MA. Greg also leaves behind his loving partner, Marisa Perry of Arlington MA. He was the grandson of Robert and the late Eleanor Sirois of Arlington and the late Joseph and Claire Mellor. He was nephew of Judy and Ken Donnelly of Arlington MA, Maureen and Ted Spinosa of Arlington MA , Kathy Sirois and Arthur Conrad of Bedford MA, Nancy and John McCaffrey of Woburn MA, Bonnie and John Ardizzoni of West Medford MA, Noreen and Tom Speer of Arlington MA, Joanne and Vic Borges of Tewksbury MA, and Don and Sha Chiao Mellor of Plano TX. Greg had many loving cousins: Toby, Ryan, Keith, Brenna, Mark, Jill, Lynne, Alyssa, Amanda, Nina, Nick, Theresa, Joseph, Andrea and Phillip. He also left behind countless friends.

Funeral from The DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass Avenue ARLINGTON Tuesday morning at 9 followed by a funeral mass at 10 in Sacred Heart Church, Lexington. Interment to follow Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
