Quick Notes From The Crime Log: Bike Stolen, and Arlington Police Might Have Your Debit Card

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department.

Police Log: Sunday, May 17

  • Bike Stolen, Webster Street, 2:30 p.m.

Someone crept into a yard, used a bolt cutter to destroy a U-lock, and apparently rode off with a reporting party’s mountain bike the previous night.

Police note that a pair of bikes were stolen from a nearby street on Saturday.

The stolen Webster Street bike is red and white with a trailer attachment on the seat, plus a Velcro top cross bar, and is valued at approximately $1,000.

  • Debit Card Found, Broadway and North Union St., 4:30 p.m.

A cashier arrived at the police station and stated that someone left their debit card on a counter after making a purchase. Police were unable to locate the card owner, but the card was at the Arlington Police front-desk as of Monday.
