Snowfall Predictions Vary Largely for Friday Storm
It's going to snow this weekend, but how much will we get?

Inches or feet?
The state and national news networks all agree on one thing: There's a storm coming to town Friday and Saturday.
What they don't agree on is how much snowfall we're going to see. The National Weather Service's seven-day forecast, checked Wednesday morning, says Arlington will get snow and rain starting Thursday night and that it will continue into Saturday morning.

The forecast predicts one half to three-quarters of an inch of snow Friday and one to two inches Friday night.
However, a winter storm watch issued Wednesday morning says, "There is moderate confidence that 6 inches or more of snowfall is possible." A hazardous weather outlook says strong and gusty winds are also likely.

Meanwhile, the WHDH forecast says, "Storm totals approach 1 foot in many areas including Boston."
WHDH meteorologist Jeremy Reiner wrote Wednesday morning, "It's actually two storms that will join forces to become one storm ... if they join forces too late (well southeast of New England) then it will be a storm with much less snowfall ... Until we can pinpoint the storm track then the amount of snow is not locked in and that dreaded rain/snow line is also not known."
You'll want to keep your eye on the weather over the next day to follow predictions.
