Attleboro Police To Host Drug Takeback Event

ATTLEBORO, MA — Residents next week are invited to turn in their unwanted or expired medication to the police station, to prevent substance abuse. The drugs will be safely disposed of. Attleboro Police Department's Drug Takeback event is taking place Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The takeback event is being conducted via partnership between Attleboro police and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The initiative helps ensure that the unwanted medication does not get into those who would abuse or misuse it.

No syringes or needles will be accepted, only pills.
