Attleboro School Bus Driver Crashes, Continues Route: Police

Police said Raynham school bus driver Francelle Fleurine crashed into trees then continued dropping off students.

RAYNHAM, MA — Police charged a Raynham school bus driver Monday after she allegedly crashed into trees then continued dropping off students because she was "running late." Francelle Fleurine, 34, of Attleboro, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash and a lane violation. Students were aboard the bus at the time, though no one was injured, police said.

Police said Fleurine was driving Raynham Middle School students home when she crashed into two trees on Locust Street while backing up at about 3:20 p.m. The impact smashed the rear window of the bus, police said, and students screamed in shock.

Despite the crash, Fleurine continued driving and dropped off about 10 students, police said. She was met by police when she returned to the school. She allegedly told officers she was "running late" when the crash happened.
