Councilor's Wife Joins Bailey Campaign

Melodie Kirby is the Attleboro coordinator of Jeff Bailey's campaign for state Senate.

Melodie Kirby, wife of Attleboro City Councilor Brian Kirby, has joined campaign for the state Senate seat of the Bristol and Norfolk District, which includes Attleboro and Seekonk.  

Kirby will serve as the Attleboro town coordinator, Bailey's campaign announced in a press release issued Thursday. The campaign announced Wednesday that senior David Orleck . 

"Our city is unique," said Kirby, according to the press release. "It requires a proactive senator. That's why I am supporting Jeff Bailey. As a longtime resident of Attleboro and having been involved within our community for decades, no one knows better the needs of Attleboro. We can count on Jeff to fight for our interests and only our interests at the State House."

Kirby has worked on several campaigns, including those of her husband. The former elementary school teacher and current home school mother has four children.
