The FBI recently released its annual "Crime in the United States" report, which includes information about Attleboro.According to the report, Attleboro saw 107 violent crimes in 2014. Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.There were 12 reported rapes, twelve robberies, and 83 aggravated assaults. Other crime stats for Attleboro include 619 larcenies, 182 burglaries, and forty-five motor vehicle thefts and 4 incidents of arson. Nationally, violent crime decreased last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
