Thursday, April 18th is " Purple Up for Military Youth" day. Wearing purple is a visible way to show support and to thank military youth for their strength and sacrifices. The American Legion Auxiliary encourages you to Purple Up! on Thursday by wearing purple and show your support. Why purple? Its a combination of Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine Red and Navy blue.
