The  reports the following recent arrests: Derick M. Cardin, 21, of Pawtucket was arrested and charged March 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a lane violation and illegal possession of a Class E substance. The arrest occurred after police stopped Cardin's vehicle at the corner of Pine and Fairfield streets at about 2:40 a.m. Nathanyle Pine, 19, of North Dighton was arrested and charged March 18 with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. The arrest occurred after Pine's vehicle was stopped near the ﻿ on Taunton Avenue at about 1:42 a.m.
