$2M Barnstable Winner In Massachusetts Lottery
June Pye said she will use her some of her winnings for a college fund for her granddaughter.

BARNSTABLE, MA — A Barnstable woman this month won $2 million on a Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket. June Pye was the 10th and final $2 million winner in the "$2,000,000 50X Cashword" game.
Pye elected to receive a one-time $1.3 million payment — minus taxes.
"She plans on using her winners to invest in her retirement, assist family and start a college fund for her granddaughter," the lottery said in a statement.

Pye purchased her winning ticket at Seven G Liquor Shop in Barnstable. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus.
