Barnstable Crash: Woman Medflighted; Man Charged
Barnstable police said a woman was seriously injured after a man driving a truck crashed into her vehicle head-on on Route 132.
BARNSTABLE, MA — A driver was seriously injured and medflighted after a head-on crash in West Barnstable Tuesday morning. The crash happened on Route 132 and involved a truck and sedan. The driver of the sedan, identified as a 38-year-old Fall River woman, was medflighted to Providence Hospital.
Police said a 62-year-old Bourne man was driving a Ford truck at about 10:30 a.m. when he swerved trying to avoid a collision with a vehicle stopped in front of him and crashed into the woman's Toyota sedan. The man was cited for failure to stay in marked lanes.
