Barnstable Memorial Day Parade 2018

BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable's annual Memorial Day parade is set for Monday, May 28. The parade starts at 10 a.m. at the Centerville Library and proceeds down Main Street to Monument Square for a brief program. The parade then continues to Old Stage Road and then Beechwood Cemetery for a wreath-laying ceremony and another program.

The guest speaker is retired U.S. Marine Colonel Ralph Negron, who served in Vietnam.

"The public is invited to bring pictures with them to the event of a family member, friend or acquaintance who has passed away and was a veteran," parade officials said in a statement.

Following the parade, there will be a ceremony at the JFK Memorial on Ocean Street at 12:15 p.m.
