Barnstable Police: 'Precursor To Meth Lab' Busted

Barnstable police said they arrested five people — including a Florida couple — at a drug den that had signs of a methamphetamine operation.

BARNSTABLE, MA — A suspected methamphetamine lab in Barnstable was busted Thursday, according to police. Five people, including a Florida couple, were arrested and police said they seized fentanyl and crack cocaine.

These are the individuals arrested:

  • Angelina Daniel, 21, of Belleview, Florida
  • Thomas Windle, 31, of Ocala, Florida
  • Brenda Nichols, 46, of Harwich
  • Michael Gregoire, 31, of Barnstable
  • David Geoffrion, 35, of Brewster

"The investigation revealed Windle and Daniel travelled to Massachusetts in (a) stolen motor vehicle and broke into the abandon home to set-up a methamphetamine operation," Barnstable police said in a statement. "A search of the premises revealed several containers, equipment, and ingredients typically used in making methamphetamine, and what appeared to be the precursor to a meth lab."

Police said they were tipped off to the drug den by a contractor who saw the group in the home.

  • Receiving stolen property
  • Breaking and entering
  • Furnishing a false name to police
  • Trespassing

Windle was charged with:

  • Fentanyl possession
  • Receiving stolen property
  • Breaking and entering
  • Furnishing a false name to police
  • Trespassing

Nichols was charged with:

  • Crack cocaine possession
  • Breaking and entering
  • Trespassing

Gregoire was charged with:

  • Breaking and entering
  • Trespassing

Geoffrion was charged with:

  • Breaking and entering
  • Trespassing
