Boston Man Charged After He Dropped Off Dead Woman at Hospital

He was charged with pot possession with the intent to distribute and driving with a revoked license. Police are investigating.

Barnstable Police arrested a Boston man on a drug charge after he reportedly dropped off a dead woman to the Cape Cod Hospital emergency room early Sunday morning.

Police responded to Cape Cod Hospital about an unresponsive 22-year-old woman who was dropped off by an unknown male.

The woman did not have vital signs and was declared deceased from an apparent overdose, according to police.

Police investigated and found that a red Hyundai Elantra with out-of-state plates dropped off the woman.

Within two hours, police spotted the vehicle on Route 28 in Hyannis. Police stopped the vehicle at Route 28 and Beares Way.

Police spoke to the driver and found the man, Clinton Brown, 31, of Boston, had his license revoked. Police arrested Brown and also found about 1 pound of marijuana and $6,000 cash in the vehicle. He was charged with operating with a revoked license and possessing a Class D substance with the intent to distribute.

Police are investigating.
