Cape Cod and the Islands Expected to Get Most Snow From Latest Storm

Six inches of snow or more may fall on parts of Cape Cod and the Islands on Wednesday night and Thursday.

The latest snowstorm is expected to start on Wednesday night as rain turns over to snow when temperatures drop. The snow should continue to fall until Thursday evening.

The National Weather Service said travel could be difficult during the storm and untreated roads will become slippery.

  • 6-8 inches of snow on Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket
  • 4-6 inches on Cape Cod except for the Outer Cape
  • 2-3 to 3-4 inches on the Outer Cape
