Cape Cod Bicyclist Stabbed Elderly Man: Police
Provincetown police said Aaron Mrowka was on a bicycle when he stabbed an 82-year-old man then pedaled off.

PROVINCETOWN, MA — A Cape Cod man on a bicycle stabbed an elderly man in Provincetown Thursday night then pedaled away, according to police. Aaron Mrowka, 29, of Provincetown, was tracked down Friday and charged with attempted murder, police said. The victim, an 82-year-old man, was stabbed in the neck and back. He was transported to Cape Cod Hospital and expected to survive. The stabbing happened on Commercial Street at about 6 p.m.
Police said Mrowka stabbed the man, fled on his bicycle then ditched the bike and continued on foot. He was charged with assault with intent to murder and aggravated assault on a person over the age of 60.
