Cape Cod Fugitive With 72 Charges Turns Himself In

Cape Cod police said Richard Mayo has a "long and wide-ranging" criminal record that includes a recent larceny charge.

YARMOUTH, MA — A Cape Cod fugitive with 72 criminal charges on his record has turned himself in, police announced Thursday. Richard Mayo, 25, was wanted by Yarmouth police for larceny and breaking and entering. He was featured as the department's weekly "Wanted Wednesday" fugitive.

On Thursday, police said Mayo resolved the warrants out for his arrest.

Last week's "Wanted Wednesday" fugitive — Emily Harris, accused of forgery and larceny — was arrested Friday, police said.
