Cape Cod Hospital: 'Urgent' Need For O Negative Blood Donors
Cape Cod Hospital said it has less than a one-day supply of O negative blood available.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Cape Cod Hospital is in "urgent" need of O negative blood donors. The hospital said Thursday it has less than a one-day supply of the blood type available.
O negative blood donors are considered "universal" donors because the blood can be used for those with other blood types.
"This puts O Negative donors in the unique position to help people who are in critical need of blood," hospital officials said in a statement.
