Hyannis Man Arrested In Domino's 'Pizza Points' Dispute: Cops

Barnstable police said Shaune Wittenmeyer lashed out at a Domino's employee then taunted police about the shooting of a Yarmouth officer.

BARNSTABLE, MA — A man from Hyannis was arrested Friday after police said he lashed out at a Domino's employee then taunted officers about the recent shooting death of a Yarmouth police officer. Shaune Wittenmeyer, 42, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said officers were dispatched to the Domino's on Falmouth Road Friday at about 10:40 p.m. after Wittenmeyer became "belligerent" over the status of his "pizza points." After an officer arrived, Wittenmeyer started knocking pizza boxes out of an employee's hands, police said. He was arrested and police said officers noted "a strong odor of alcohol on his breath."

Police said his aggressive behavior escalated at the police station and he started to taunt officer about last month's shooting death of Yarmouth police Officer Sean Gannon.

"He told an officer that he wished he was the 'dead cop,'" Barnstable police said in a statement. "WITTENMEYER ... taunted (the officers) further laughing (and) stating 'What are you going do about it? Freedom of speech right?'"

Wittenmeyer was released on $500 bail. Police said they were investigating how Wittenmeyer got to Domino's, as officers found a vehicle "associated" with him but did not witness him driving it. Police said his driver's license was suspended for failing to pay child support.
