Hyannis Twins Face Federal Gun Charges
Police said Di'lon and Denzel Smith were arrested in November on fentanyl and gun charges.

BOSTON, MA — Twins brothers from Hyannis were indicted on weapons charges in federal court in Boston Monday, according to prosecutors. Di'lon and Denzel Smith, 25, were charged with being felons in possession of firearms and ammunition. Both were detained pending detention hearings. An indictment means a grand jury determined a trial is warranted based on evidence in the case.
The charges stem from the brothers' arrests in November in Barnstable. Police said they sized more than 100 grams of fentanyl and several handguns from the brothers.
Both men have long criminal histories. They face up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines on the gun charges, according to U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling.
