Prostitution Reported At Cape Cod Wellness Studio: Police

Yarmouth police said Zen Wellness Studio is under investigation for "illegal sex acts."

YARMOUTH, MA — Zen Wellness Studio in Yarmouth is under investigation for "repeated" reports of prostitution, police announced Thursday. The studio, located on Route 28 near Pond Street, recently operated without an occupancy permit, according to police. There have been "repeated reports of illegal sexual acts" at the business, police added.

No arrests have been announced. The studio advertised its services over the internet.

"The Yarmouth Police Department ... take(s) crimes like human sex trafficking, the exploitation of women and children, and prostitution very seriously," police said in a statement.

In December, a "grand opening" advertisement for the studio appeared on Backpage.com. The advertisement read, in part, "Best Asian Style Session offered for your relaxation and therapeutic need. Come and enjoy your session at ZEN Wellness Studio."

In a statement, Yarmouth police said, "The owner of this business is listed as Zhenyang George Guo of Southboro and the owner of the property is listed as Al-Najar Razzak of the same address—1247 Route 28—in South Yarmouth."
