5 Things: A Slew of BHS Home Games

1. Today in Public Meetings: Public meetings scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, according to the town website, include the Davis School Advisory Council at 8 a.m., the Board of Assesors at 7 p.m., the Conservation Commission at 7 p.m. and the Recreation Commission at 7 p.m. 

2. BHS Athletics Home Games: Bedford High School athletics home games scheduled for today, according to the school's website, include freshman baseball at 4 p.m. on Field A, girls varsity lacrosse at 4 p.m. on Field B, girls JV lacrosse at 5:30 p.m. on Field B, varsity softball at 4 p.m. on Field C, JV softball at 4 p.m. on Field E and boys varsity and JV tennis on the BHS courts at 4 p.m.

3. BPD Officers Respond to Marathon: Three members of the Bedford Police Department responded as part of the North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council to support law enforcement in Boston following the attacks at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. NEMLEC also provided tactical police support in the manhunt for the second suspect in the bombing in Watertown last Friday. Check out what praise NEMLEC received from Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis as well as Watertown Police Chief Edward Deveau for their efforts throughout the events of last week.
