5 Things: Patriots' Day Festivities and More

1. Patriots' Day: Town Hall is closed today due to Patriots' Day, but most retail stores will be open Monday. Find out exactly what's open and what's closed in Bedford on Patriots' Day.

2. Patriots' Day Events: On Monday, the Commemoration of the North Bridge Fight and Patriots' Day Parade will take place in Concord at 8:30 a.m. British reenactors conduct a “Mourn Arms” ceremony in honor of the British dead buried at the North Bridge. Meanwhile, musicians, minuteman companies, organizations and dignitaries march through Concord Center, out over the North Bridge and back through the center of town.

A Warm Patriots' Day: Good news for anyone heading out to Concord to watch the reenactment (or anyone heading into Boston for either the Red Sox game or the Marathon) -- Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 60, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a low of 38 Monday night.
