5 Things: Weekend Events and More

1. Weekend Events: The clock is ticking down to Friday at 5 p.m. and you still don't have any idea what you're doing this weekend. Fear not, Bedford Patch is here with a full listing of weekend events happening in and around town. Saturday, Pulitzer finalist Megan Marshall will give a presentation on "Margaret Fuller in Love" at the Concord Free Public Library. Also on Saturday, the Meriam's Corner Exercise marks the assembly and actions of militia and minuteman units that arrived here to engage the British Regulars retreating from the North Bridge on April 19, 1775. 2. Special Election Primary Voter Registration:  Thanks to the U.S. Senate seat that opened with John Kerry’s appointment as Secretary of State, Bedford will see two more elections this year. The deadline for voter registration for the first, the special state primary, is April 10. Find where and how you can register now.

3. Jet Blue at Worcester: On April 3, JetBlue announced it would begin on Nov. 7 flying into Worcester, which was last used for commercial flights in March 2012. So we want to know...will you consider opting for Worcester Regional Airport instead of another airport in the fall?
