Bedford Police Logs: Car Accidents, Burst Water Pipe and More

Friday, Jan. 15

3:11 p.m.—A caller from the 300 block of Great Road reported her wallet was stolen at Shop & Shop.

Saturday, Jan. 16

11:36 a.m. — A caller from Page Road reported two dogs in the roadway that are white with brown spots and appeared to be disoriented. The animals could not be located.

5:54 p.m. — A caller from Railroad Avenue reported she was assaulted by a resident. She was voluntarily transported by an Armstrong Ambulance to Lahey.

Sunday, Jan. 18

12:23 p.m. — Scott Arnold, Pastor of First Baptist Church, brought into the police station an iPad he purchased from eBay that the Apple Store said may have been stolen.

2:02 p.m. — An officer reported while he was at The Edge Sports Center, his vehicle was struck by a car with a Massachusetts license plate that was given to him by a witness.

3:35 p.m. — A caller from Crosby Drive reported a front desk panic alarm went off. When the officer went to the location, the front door was secure, the business was closed, there were vehicles in the lot and it appeared other nearby businesses were open.

Tuesday, Jan. 20— 3:49 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Old Billerica Road reported a water pipe burst at Boston Evangelical Church, located at 276 Old Billerica Road. The water and heat were shut off and the employee on scene said they would notify a plumber.

5:38 p.m. — A caller from Carlisle Road reported a transformer on fire on Carlisle Road. Officers checked Carlisle Road and North Road and did not locate the fire and found no power outages in the area.

Wednesday, Jan. 21

12:21 p.m. — A caller from Great Road reported a motor vehicle crash in the area of 180 The Great Road.

9:15 p.m. — A caller from Mudge Way reported a credit card found in front of the library. The owner was located and the card was returned.
