BPD Officer Sent to Hospital Following Car Crash Involving Police Cruiser
The officer sustained minor injuries as a result of the March 22 crash.
A Bedford Police Department vehicle was involved in a two car crash near 110 Great Road on March 22, according to Det. Lt. Scott Jones.
According to Jones, the officer was responding to reports of a fist fight between two motorists at the scene of another car crash on Burlington Road under the Route 3 bridge when his cruiser was involved in a crash with another vehicle near 110 Great Road.

The officer was transported to the hospital with minior injuries following the crash, according to Jones.
The motorists who were allegedly fighting on Burlington Road were gone by the time BPD officers arrived in the area, according to Jones.
