Bucs Fall to Swampscott in Sectional Finals, 3-2

Swampscott High School's Chris Carman tied the game 2-2 with two minutes remaining, setting up a game winning goal from Swampscott's Nunzio Morretti, beating Bedford in the MIAA North Division 3 finals. 

A second period goal from Trevor Massey put Swampscott on the board first, but Bedford sophomore Brendan Flynn tied it 1-1 with a power play goal going into the second intermission. 

The Bucs went up 2-1 in the third period on a goal from senior Anthony Lespasio on the assist from senior Sean Isnor and sophomore Jake Citrano. 

In a dramatic finish Carman tied the game with two minutes left, and with six seconds left on the clock Morretti netted the game winner. 

Bedford won their seminfinal matchup against Shawsheen Valley Technical High School 3-1 on Wednesday.
