1. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website public meetings posted for today include the Arbor Resources Committee at 7:30 p.m., School Committee at 7:30 p.m., Outdoor Recreation Facilities Committee at 7:30 p.m. and Recreation Commission at 7:30 p.m. 

2. Bedford's Response to the Newtown Tragedy: Superintendent Jon Sills sent a statement out to Bedford families with advice on how to talk to children about the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary on Dec. 14.
