Five Things: BHS Basketball

1. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website public meetings posted for today include Planning Board at 7 p.m., Finance Committee at 7:30 p.m. and Sign Bylaw Review Committee at 7:30 p.m.

2. BHS Basketball: The Bedford High School boys varsity basketball team will take on Minuteman Regional High School at 5 p.m. at Bedford High School. The Bucs are 1-1 so far this season. 

3. Task Force Announced at School Committee: At the Dec. 18 School Committee meeting, Superintendent Jon Sills announced a task force charged with identifying potential dangers to students and putting forth possible solutions to address these dangers. The task force, which will include parents of Bedford students, will have its first meeting on Jan. 7 and present its recommendations to Sills on Feb. 14.

5. Sunny Day, Rainy Night: Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high of 41, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a 70 percent chance of rain Thursday night with a low of 35.
