1. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website public meetings posted for today include the Selectmen at 7:30 p.m., the Board of Health at 7 p.m. and the Historic Preservation Committee at 7:30 p.m. 

2. Program Placing Homeless in Bedford Hotel Could End: A state program placing homeless families in the Bedford Plaza Hotel and children from these families in Bedford Public Schools could draw to a close by 2014. The same program could cost Bedford taxpayers up to $180,000 for the 2012-13 school year in transportation costs alone.
