Five Things: Playoffs, Public Meetings and More

Bucs basketball kicks off their playoff run, some public meetings and more in Bedford on Feb. 27.

 

1. Girls Basketball Playoffs: The BHS girls varsity basketball (7) will take on the Newburyport High School Clippers (10) at 7 p.m. at Bedford High School. 

2. Today in Public Meetings: Public meetings scheduled for today, according to the town website, include the Davis School Advisory Council at 8 a.m., the Conservation Commission at 7 p.m. and the Energy Task Force at 7:30 p.m.

3. More Playoffs Later This Week: We'll be following both Bedford High School girls basketball and boys ice hockey through their playoff runs this year. Bucs ice hockey (9) takes on the Weston High School Wildcats (8) on Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. Stick with Bedford Patch for coverage as the playoffs progress, and GO BUCS!!!

5. Sloppy Day, Rainy Night: There is a 100 percent chance of rain and snow Wednesday becoming mostly rain as the afternoon progresses with a high of 38, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a 100 percent chance of rain Wednesday night with a low of 35.
