• Fong Returns as Interim Bedford Police Chief (thebedfordcitizen.org) — Bedford’s Police Department is again being led temporarily by Kenneth Fong, who was appointed interim chief following John Fisher’s retirement and began work on Jan. 5. Town officials expect him to serve for a few months while they conduct a comprehensive search for the next permanent chief, drawing on Fong’s decades of leadership experience in Boston and nearby Carlisle.
