Police: A Lost Dog and Annoying Ex-Employees

Saturday, Dec. 15
11:28 a.m.- A caller reported a vehicle being operated erratically on the Middlesex Turnpike that attempted to pass him at a high rate of speed. Both vehicles pulled into the parking lot at 100 Crosby Drive. The responding officer educated both individuals about road safety.Â

2:47 p.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a sick raccoon on Brooksbie Road at Great Road. The responding officer checked the area with negative results.
3:00 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a hit and run crash at 200 Great Road.Â

3:01 p.m.- Police received a call from a manager at Firebox BBQ reporting annoying calls from an ex-employee.Â
4:03 p.m.- A caller reported an out of control child on Hilltop Drive. The responding officer assisted the reporting person with the child and reported everything was in order.Â
4:09 p.m.- Police received a call reporting they had found a loose small white dog near 198 Concord Road. The caller agreed to hang onto the dog until the owner was found. The owner later called the police who informed him where he could find his dog.Â
4:46 p.m.- A resident of Alder Way reported vandalism to a vehicle window. The responding officer reported the damage might have been done by an airsoft gun.Â
5:25 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a vehicle being operated erratically heading into town on Great Road from Lexington. The responding officer spoke with the individual who said she was from out of town and unfamiliar with the roads. The officer reported there were no signs of impairment.Â
