Police: An Unoccupied Tent at the V.A. Hospital

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 12

7:13 a.m.- Kyle Carroll, of 10 A Bedford Villiage was arrested on seven warrants, including larceny and credit card fraud, following a motor vehicle stop. Carroll was arraigned in Concord District Court later Wednesday morning.

12:06 p.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from the Veterans Administration Police reporting a suspicious tent set up behind one of the buildings at the V.A. Medical Center. Officers responded and removed the unoccupied tent.

6:10 a.m.- A caller reported her service dog had gone missing last night and could be in Bedford near Hanscom Air Force Base. The dog was a black great dane with a white stripe on its chest and no tags. 

9:48 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a demonstration taking place outside CVS that was blocking the sidewalk. The responding officer spoke with the individuals and reported they were no longer blocking the sidewalk. 

11:36 a.m.- A caller reported students from Middlesex Community College were parking on Fox Run Road. MCC Security was notified. 

1:50 p.m.- Police received a call reporting anti-Obama protestors in front of CVS, partly on the sidewalk. Officers responded and reported two female protesters standing on the sidewalk.

9:02 p.m.- A caller reported a suspicious individual wearing all camouflage running down Great Road. An officer checked the area but could not find the individual.

10:26 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a loose greyhound, dark grey in color with no tags near Great Road Shopping Center. The responding officer checked the area but could not find the dog.
