Police Log: A Cat Stuck in the Chimney

Monday, April 1

11:15 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a bonfire in the woods behind 25 Fox Run Road, possibly at 7 Glen Ora Drive. The responding officer reported the fire was at 7 Glen Ora Drive, and was a permitted fire. The caller was notified.Β

3:31 p.m.- An individual came into the police station to report a larceny from Safety Partners at 19 Crosby Drive.Β 

3:47 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a tree down on Dudley Road at Chesnut Lane. The responding officer reported DPW was notified and had removed the tree.Β

6:27 p.m.- A resident of Appletree Lane called police to report she believed her cat was stuck in the chimney. The Animal Control Officer responded along with the Bedford Fire Department and reported the cat came down on its own.
