Police Log: A Noise Complaint and a Lost Cat

Friday, March 29

1:12 a.m.- An officer reported the traffic lights at Burlington Road and the Route 3 southbound off ramp were not cycling properly. The Mass Department of Transportation was notified.Β

8:56 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from the Massachusetts Environmental Police reporting an oil container had been left at the boat landing at the boat landing at 400 Carlisle Road. The Department of Public Works was notified.

9:25 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a tree on the wires near 175 Middlesex Turnpike. NStar was notified.

12:28 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a car had struck a dog and both the car and the dog had left the area. The responding officer reported the owner of the dog is a resident of 100 Wilson Road and was going to take the dog to the vet.Β 

1:06 p.m.- An individual came into the police station to report her Maine Coon cat was missing from 7 Appletree Lane.Β 

5:04 p.m.- Police received a call requesting an officer check on several youths arguing in the playground at the end of Eliot Road. The responding officer reported he checked the playground area and located the youths and that all was in order.

10:15 p.m.- An officer reported a group of youths gathering at 111 Page Road. The responding officer reported he spoke with the homeowner who agreed to bring the kids inside because they were becoming too loud.
