Police Log: A Suspicious Vehicle and a Report of Stalking

Wednesday, April 10

12:43 p.m.- TheΒ Bedford Police DepartmentΒ received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle in the area of Dana Road. Responding officers spoke with the operator of the vehicle who said he was distributing flyers in the neighborhood.

2:35 p.m.- An individual came into the police station to report that she felt she had been stalked on her way home from theΒ Bedford Free Public LibraryΒ to her home on Railroad Avenue the previous night.Β 

3:30 p.m.- Police received a call from a Woodland Road resident reporting someone on their property going through their mail. The responding officer spoke with the caller who said they saw the vehicle leaving the area.

8:24 p.m.- A caller reported a car crash near 44 Middlesex Turnpike. The responding officer reported the vehicle had run into the curb, was disabled and was causing a traffic backup. A tow was en route.Β
