Police Log: A Suspicious Vehicle on Evans Avenue

Wednesday, April 3
9:19 a.m.- While on a vehicle stop at 199 Great Road, an officer reported a car crash without injury at the intersection of Great Road and Loomis Street. The officer reportedΒ one operator involved in the crash was issued a citation.
4:36 p.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a vehicle without aΒ placardΒ parked in a handicap spot at McDonald's . The responding officer reported he spoke with the owner of the vehicle who had a handicap placard and had forgotten to put it on.

5:46 p.m.- A caller reported a vehicle parked in the fire lane at the Edge Sports Center . The responding officer issued a citation.
8:06 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle parked at the end of Evans Avenue. The caller advised it was a dark colored sedan, was parked for a lengthy period of time and the occupants entered the woods adjacent to the street.

9:07 p.m.- Police received a call from Hanscom Air Force Base requesting assistance apprehending a male out of the base for domestic assault and battery on base. The individual was driving a greenish-blue Toyota Corolla with New York plates. All cars were advised.
