Police Log: A Warrant Arrest and an Aggressive Solicitor

Friday, April 12

7:28 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a loose dog in the area of 6 Williams Street. The responding officer reported the dog was gone upon arrival.Β

8:04 a.m.- Police received a call reporting construction equipment being parked on the sidewalk on Hancock Street. The responding officer reported he spoke with the construction company who agreed to move the equipment.Β 

9:03 a.m.- An officer responded to reports of a minor car accident without injuries in the lot of 34 Crosby Drive.Β

11:31 a.m.- BPD received a call from the V.A. Police Department reporting they had an individual in custody who had an outstanding warrant. Responding officers reported Michael Lemire was placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant.Β 

12:00 p.m.- An employee of the Dunkin Donuts and Northside Convenience at 44 North Road reported a breaking and entering that had occured at the store overnight.

2:54 p.m.- An individual came into the police station reporting a wallet was stolen from Marshalls on April 11. Β 

2:58 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a Newpro solicitor being overly aggressive in the area of Curve Street and Pine Street. The caller reported the solicitor was driving a Newpro van. The responding officer reported he checked the area but did not locate the solicitor or the van.
