Police Log: An Angry Pedestrian on the Bike Path

Tuesday, Feb. 26

8:30 a.m.- An officer requested DPW be notified to remove a deceased animal from the roadway on North Road near Pine Hill Road.

11:43 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from a resident of Patriot Circle requesting to speak with an officer about a threatening email they had received.Β 

3:10 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle, described as a white Toyota Prius, parked on Pond Circle. The caller reported there were what looked like two teenage males sitting in the back seat and they had been parked for nearly half an hour. An officer was dispatched, but the caller called back to report the vehicle had left the area.Β

5:59 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a man on the bike path yelling and cyclists and pedestrians. The responding officer reported he spoke with the individual who said cyclists were speeding by him and yelling "on your left" and "on your right."

6:29 p.m.- A caller reported construction equipment in the roadway at 79 North Road. The responding officer reported a cement truck was stuck at that location for the time being. Officers directed traffic around it.Β
