Police Log: Complaints of Protestors in Front of CVS

Thursday, March 21

3:41 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting the odor of natural gas in the area of the Great Road Shopping Center. The responding officer reported the odor of natural gas across from 281 Great Road. National Grid was notified.Β

9:44 a.m.- Police received a call from a resident of 29 Fox Run Road reporting a suspicious brown four door sedan in the area. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone by the time he arrived in the area.

10:33 a.m.- Police received a call reporting vehicles parked on Notre Dame Road and Candlewick Lane blocking the road for fire apparatus. An officer reported there was an event happening at Davis Elementary School. The officer spoke with someone from the school and an announcement was made to move the vehicles.

11:49 a.m.- An officer responded to reports of a car crash with injury at 345 Great Road. The responding officer reported there were no injuries resulting from the crash.

1:51 p.m.- The property manager at Huckins Farm called police to report a suspicious blue Honda with two occupants on the property of the farm. He reported the vehicle left on Dudley Road toward North Road. An officer located the vehicle at Northside Convenience.Β 

3:55 p.m.- Police received a call from an employee at CVS reporting they are unable to conduct business due to receiving constant complaints about the protestors in front of the store. The responding officer spoke with the reporting person and advised them that the protestors have a legal right to be there.

10:16 p.m.- Police received a call from an employee at the DoubleTree Bedford Glen Hotel requesting an officer assist in removing several four youths who were being disruptive in the pool area. The responding officer reported the group left the hotel.Β
