Police Log: Paintball Vandalism

Saturday, Feb. 23

6:54 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting two seemingly intoxicated females leaving Northside Convenience travelling northbound on North Road. The responding officer stopped the vehicle on North Road at Appletree Lane. The vehicle was towed.Β

9:37 a.m.- Police received a call reporting vandalism with a paintball gun on the back of 45 Shawsheen Road.Β 

10:31 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a two car crash in front of CVS with no injuries reported. The responding officer reported there was no damage to the vehicles.

4:21 p.m.- A caller reported a disabled vehicle on Burlington Road at Earl Road. The responding officer reported he pushed the vehicle closer to the side of the road while the operator waited for AAA.

4:27 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a suspicious individual sitting on the stone wall at the end of Sweetwater Avenue. The responding officer reported he spoke with the individual who was a solicitor for Verizon. The officer advised him of the town bylaw and sent him on his way.

7:12 p.m.- A caller reported an elderly man who appeared homeless in the parking lot of Stop and Shop. The responding officer reported he spoke with the man who said he was staying at the Quality Inn in Lexington and was shopping at Stop and Shop.Β
