Police Log: Several Reports of Suspicious Vehicles

Friday, April 19
8:29 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from a resident of 24 Elmbrook Road reporting a suspicious black Lexus SUV parked in his driveway. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone upon arrival at the scene.

9:17 a.m.- BPD received a call from Burlington Police reporting a disabled vehicle on Burlington Road under the Route 3 bridge. Burlington reported the vehicle was a budget box truck with the flashers on. The responding officer reported the vehicle had gone on its way.
10:47 a.m.- Police received a call from Brown and Brown P.C., at 110 Great Road, reporting harassment. The responding officer reported it was not an instance of harassment, but an attempted fraud.Β

2:58 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of 22 Foster Road reporting a possibly rabid raccoon in her front yard. The responding officer and animal control officer reported the raccoon was gone upon arrival.Β
4:31 p.m.- An individual came into the police station to report a suspicious gray jeep parked in front of Salon Elegante at 44 A North Road. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
4:36 p.m.- Police received a call from the property owner at 54 Loomis Street reporting a suspicious vehicle parked on the right side in the rear of the building. The responding officer reported the parking lot is shared with a pediatric office.Β
