Police Log: Sloppy Driving at Stop and Shop

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Tuesday, Jan. 1

12:13 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department responded to reports of an assault and battery at the DoubleTree Bedford Glen Hotel.

3:47 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a group of people who did not appear old enough to drink walking along Great Road carrying a case of alcohol.

9:55 a.m.- A resident of Woodland Road reported property damage.

8:07 p.m.- A caller reported a silver Honda SUV in the Stop and Shop parking lot hit a median and nearly another vehicle as the driver pulled out of their parking spot. The responding officer checked the area, but did not locate the vehicle. 

Wednesday, Jan. 2

3:16 p.m.- Police received a call reporting damage to a mailbox at 168 North Road. The responding officer reported it appeared the damage had been done by a plow.

5:39 p.m.- A resident of Williams Street reported a dark colored, late 1990s model Nissan Maxima was parked in front of his house. The caller reported when he left his house he heard footsteps running toward the vehicle. No entry was gained into the residence.
