Police Log: Stolen Dirt

Sunday, April 7
8:22 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a young male was taking dirt from the property at the new Lavender Lane development. The caller said the male was a resident of Concord Road. The responding officer spoke with the individual who had put the dirt back prior to his arrival.Β

8:49 a.m.- Police received an alarm activation call from 30 Pickman Drive. The responding officers reported they checked the area and all was in order.Β
11:53 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a wallet was found behind John Glenn Middle School. The owner of the wallet came into the police station later to pick up the wallet.Β

1:16 p.m.- Police received a call from a company doing work at 180 Hartwell Road reporting vehicles parked on their property. The responding officer reported the vehicles were removed.Β
2:23 p.m.- Police received a call reporting low hanging wires between 160 and 170 Old Billerica Road. The responding officers reported they were cable and telephone wires. Comcast was notified.Β
9:52 p.m.- The Billerica Police Department requested assistance from Bedford Police in locating a male out of Billerica involved in an armed robbery. The male was believed to be in the Orchard Road area. The responding officers reported Billerica Police were handling the situation.
