Police Log: Stuck In An Elevator

Thursday, Feb. 21
9:47 a.m.- An individual came into the Bedford Police Department to turn in two spent bullet casings that had been found in front of 6 Sunnyfield Road. The individual said he did not want an officer to respond to that address to avoid upseting his elderly mother-in-law.Â

9:59 a.m.- Police received a phone call reporting a car accident on Great Road at Brooksbie Road. Police initially requested EMS transport for a juvenile passenger, but after an evaluation by the Fire Department it was determined no transport was needed.Â
11:54 a.m.- Police received a report of three people trapped in the elevator between the first and second floors at Logix Health at 8 Oak Park Drive. Upon arrival, the Fire Department reported all three people were out of the elevator which had been shut down until the owner could have it fixed.

4:53 p.m.- A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on Meadowbrook Road at Earl Road. The responding officer reported he was unable to locate the vehicle.
10:17 p.m.- Police received an anonymous call reporting a loud party at 3220 Taylor Pond Lane. The responding officer spoke with the resident and reported there was no party.Â
